- As a Senior Writer I must manage a small team to produce new and original content for the site, as well as set time-scales, tasks, resources, deliverables and milestones for the team.
- Working as a journalist for this site, I had to create and maintain contacts within the industry, attend press and gaming events, report news and press releases, as well as write features, previews and reviews for up coming games.
- I had to have good time keeping and organisation skills to meet deadlines. As well as good communication skills to speak or write to my contacts within the industry as professional as possible. I also had to ensure my news sources were reliable.

University of Teesside, Course Representative.
- Course Representative involved me handling complaints or questions from students, liaising with tutors, lectures, heads of department, school representatives and the students union to solve any problems they may of hand, being deadlines to fiancé. I would also attended monthly meetings to discuss ways of tackling any issues raised to find a solution for students, as a group or as a individual.

Avidgamer.co.uk, Video Game Journalist – Review/Preview writer and Video Editor
- I had to have good time keeping and organisation skills to meet deadlines. As well as good written skills.
- I had to learn and develop an appropriate style of writing, I often was asked to adapt my written review in to a short video format, which was great practice for honing my editing skills.
- Using skills from the Moving Image course I was able to make informative stimulating videos which added some humour whilst also providing information and a balanced view of the game.
- I would create a montage of gaming clips and add the voice over, using graphics, or idents, popping up on the screen.
2006-2008
Darlington College, Student Representative. Student Ambassador & Student Council Member (SCM)
- Student Representative involved me handling complaints or questions from students, liaising with tutors and the Principal of the college, also attend monthly meetings to discuss any student issues that had arisen.
- Student Ambassador I would be asked to welcome guests to the college, such as parents, people interested in enrolling into the college and VIPs, such as the former P.M Tony Blair.
- Council Member I attended weekly SCM meetings to discuss ways of tackling any issues raised at representative meetings, and to lobby the Principal. The council also helped to plan fund raising events for various charities, as well as organising social and sporting events, clubs, visits, volunteering opportunities, welfare campaigning and fun activities for students to participate in.

- Working as a freelance journalist for this site I found and reported news on the latest announcements from the Video Game Industry.

The Business and Technology Education Council (BETC) in E-media is a qualification equivalent to three A Levels.
Focus: Web design; producing, designing and maintaining a website, Stop Motion Animation, Video production; design and editing, Script Writing, Advanced Photoshop and Animation in 2D &3D.
The Business and Technology Education Council (BETC) in Moving Image is a qualification equivalent to three A Levels.
Focus: Knowledge of the media industry, Advanced Video editing skills. Briefly working on an in house show called ‘Quaker Television’ creating highlights by editing footage of previous matches and interviews.
The Business and Technology Education Council (BETC) First Diploma is a Level 2 qualification, roughly equivalent to 4 GCSEs at C-A*.
